2009 Bucks Holiday Soccer Classic Tournament Standings & Schedule

PONTIAC, MI -- The Michigan Bucks will be hosting the first annual Bucks Holiday Soccer Classic at Ultimate Soccer Arenas beginning Tuesday, December 29 through Wednesday, December 30. Boys and girls teams can register now to play 6 v 6 in the U8 to U10 age groups and 8 v 8 for teams U11 up to U18. Space is limited to the first 20 teams to play 6 v 6 and the first 40 teams 8 v 8. Team registration is $395 and all teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games over the course of the three day tournament. 
The younger teams will play a three game round robin format with all participants receiving trophies for participation. The U11 and above teams will all be placed in groups compatible to their level of play (recreational, travel or select) and will be able to advance from the group stage to determine a champion at each age group.
The Holiday Soccer Classic will be held in the Bucks home at Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Pontiac. The largest indoor soccer facility in North America houses three fields built to play outdoor style soccer in an indoor environment. Teams U8 to U10 may register up to 12 players per team and will play on a field turf field 50 yards long by 40 yards wide. The U11 and above teams will be playing on the larger fields 75 yards long by 55 yards wide and can roster up to 14 players per team.
Tournament times will be announced after registration is closed, but games will be scheduled between the hours of 9:00 am and 9:00 pm all three days. In addition to three of the finest fields in Michigan, Ultimate Soccer Arenas boasts the World Cup Grill and Upper 90 Pub, along with a world class coffee shop and free wireless internet access throughout the facility. The Bucks will also provide discounted hotel rates at the Marriott hotels, less than a mile from the facility for anyone needing an overnight stay.
